The Aluna Bifold System
Our market leading Aluna bifold system can be manufactured with up to 7 leaves each way (14 in total), opening from the left or right, towards the inside or outside of the property. The moving corner post option enables right angled bifolding doors, including the return, to open out fully, with the option of a fixed corner.
Engineering-grade hardware allows for silky smooth opening and closing operation. Perfect to open up your space to the outdoors and create a visually stunning addition to your property.

Click & Forget Clip In Beads
Clip-in beads are also fully available on our Aluna range of bifold systems. Our clip in bead is unique in that when installed with our market leading Aluna profile, installers benefit from both flexibility and ease of installation, dramatically reducing the time of install per pane.
What sets our new bead design apart is the confidence in the sound it makes as it is installed. Simply click it into place without the need for tools or any excessive force where traditionally, glazing would require a time-consuming wedge gasket.
Unique Universal Lock Keep
Designed exclusively for us by experienced product developers, with the fabricator in mind. It is suitable for both left and right hand sides of the doors, making it easier to order, stock and fabricate! It takes away the headache of having to stock both left-hand and right-hand lock keeps and alleviates the potential for error at the fabrication stage.
It can be easily adjusted with an allen key. There’s a reduced number of screws needed of just one type of screw and plastic alignment packers for ease of fitting. The wider faceplate gives increased strength, with diecast back boxes for hooks and centre deadbolt. The reduced hook box depth means no confliction with the intermediate lock configuration.
Rebate End Cap
Speed, ease, confidence, revenue. Supplied as a pair an easy to snap sprue with a new foam gasket the Aluna rebate end cap improves sealing against the sash.
With easy installation - 1 turn of the grub screw locks the end cap securely into place. No messy gluing process is required and the end cap remains firmly in place during transit to site.
Glazing Packer
Making glazing even faster for installers, offering the optional Aluna glass packer differentiates fabrication. Simply fit into the corners of the sash for enhanced speedy toe and heeling, this 4mm thick recycled plastic addition makes installs fast and easy.
Adjustable Jamb
The Aluna bifold system has been designed to be quick and easy to manufacture and install. The system offers an optional adjustable jamb feature for maximum versatility of +/- 4mm either side during installation and is easily adjustable at a later date with an allen key
Toe & Heel Device
We completely understand what our fabricator partners need to stand out from the crowd and attract the trade installer. With the Aluna glass adjuster simple adjustment after installation without the requirement to deglaze the sash makes toe and heeling a fast and simple process on site.

Colours
Our Aluna bifolds, French and single doors are available in any RAL colour upon request. The standard colours that we have in stock are Grey 7016 (Matte), Black 9005 (Matte), White 9016 (Gloss), Grey 7016 (Matte) on White 9016 (Gloss), Black 9005 (Matte) on White 9016 (Gloss), Textured Grey 7016 and Mill Finish.
Thresholds & Cills
Standard Threshold
The standard threshold (55mm) acts as a full weather break, keeping the property dry and warm regardless of outside elements. Recommended for external bifolding doors.
Integrated Cill & Threshold
Our integrated cill and threshold profile provides full weather rating on our lowest threshold and maximises the overall sash height of the door leaf. For ease of fabrication, the profile already has pre-drilled drainage slots along the inside face.
Low Threshold
Our Low Threshold (20mm) doesn’t offer as much weather protection but creates a seamless look. Lower thresholds are less of a trip hazard than higher ones so are more suited for those with mobility issues or small children.
Low Threshold with Ramps
When a threshold can’t be sunk below floor level and accessibility is required, a ramp can be added either side of the low threshold as an optional extra.
Universal Aluminium Cills
Alunet’s range of universal aluminium cills with pre-drilled screw ports are compatible with most other door and window systems, as well as with our ALUNA bifold system. Their main benefits are directing water away from brickwork while also offering an additional design element to the aesthetics of the door or window.

Combined with the AluLock, the Aluna bifold system is the ultimate security kit. The stylish but secure Sweet Handle is designed to prevent gripping tools from snapping the handle during a break in. The Ultion Technology 3-star barrel also provides double the sacrificial protection, including an anti lock pin and 20-point drill protection as standard. If attacked, the barrel enters lockdown mode, meaning the lock is practically impenetrable without heavy and noisy power tools.

Here at Alunet Systems, our bifolding door systems are available in three standard colours – White (RAL9016), Anthracite Grey (RAL7016) and Black (RAL9005). Additionally, we have dual colour options available – Grey Out/ White In or Black Out/ White In. For projects requiring bespoke colours, any RAL colour can is also available upon request.
Our Aluna bifold system is available with aluminium cills, pre-drilled screw ports and plastic push-in colour matched end caps in our standard stock colours. The cill size options also include 90mm, 150mm, 190mm and 230mm.

The Aluna bifold system has a range of additional extras. For increased security, the Duplex Double Hook Lock provides a 6-point locking system instead of 3-hook. For the ultimate wow factor, a floating corner post can also be added, enabling right-angled Aluna bifolding doors to open out fully, with the option of a fixed corner.
